Last summer Georgie opened up BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend singing just before Ed Sheeran.
Georgie has been singing since the age of 7. She has been doing weekly gigs and weddings and studying as a beauty therapist. This year she has won 2 National Entertainment Awards and was honoured to sing at the 10th Anniversary Ceremony.
Last summer Georgie opened up BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend singing just before Ed Sheeran in front of 30 -40,000 people meeting all the stars such as Anne Marie, Young Blud, Tom Grennan, Becky Hill, Sigrid, Griff, Melvin Odoom Jordan North and Molly King to name a few. This was all filmed for the Got What it Takes Winners Story which Georgie won in 2020 but due to Covid everything got delayed 2 years. It’s still available to watch on the BBC I player. She got invited on to the red sofas of BBC breakfast and filmed Saturday Mashup Live in Glasgow and also won best Live performance of the series.
